Harriet Tubman

Mrs. G's fifth graders are learning and writing about Harriet Tubman.  Students took turns sharing portions of their writing and then provided feedback to one another. Nio told Dayne, "I really liked how you included her feeling."  Owen told Nio, "You told us a lot about her life."  Classmates complimented Iris for mentioning details other students forgot about.  Students did an excellent job capturing what they learned in their writing and they did a great job complimenting each other.
