Harriet Tubman

Mrs. G's fifth graders are learning and writing about Harriet Tubman.  Students took turns sharing portions of their writing and then provided feedback to one another. Nio told Dayne, "I really liked how you included her feeling."  Owen told Nio, "You told us a lot about her life."  Classmates complimented Iris for mentioning details other students forgot about.  Students did an excellent job capturing what they learned in their writing and they did a great job complimenting each other.

Hard Tac

Students in 5th grade are learning about the Civil War.  Today they made Hard Tac.  Reilly shared that,"Hard Tac was a snack the soldiers ate when they got hungry."

K Celebration!

Students in 5th grade work with a variety of shapes to build one large square.  Think - think - think!

Historical Home

Fourth grade students had an opportunity to learn about some historical homes in Oneonta.  The learned a great deal about our neighboring home... The Swart Wicox House.

Second Grade Play!

Our second grade students performed the musical, Lemonade to a packed house this afternoon!   Excellent job students!
