One voice....

Under Miss.Reece's leadership, the first grade class shared some magic with the Oneonta community today. They started their day off at The Community Bank on Main Street, grabbed lunch at Ruffino's, and then sang their little hearts out for residence of 

Nader Towers.

 Mr. Zeh's 5th grade students put on their snowshoes and headed outside!

Students in first grade are decomposing numbers and using strategies that will support them with mental math.  Take a quick peek at a team of boys working together to solve a problem. (I apologize for the multiple clips - Blogger was not cooperating with an upload of one extended video)

Ancient Greek Civilization

Students in second grade are studying Ancient Greek Civilization and they love it! Today, both classrooms came together to share and celebrate what they have learned thus far.  Students dressed in traditional attire and shared their journal entries.  They also played a game - who/what am I? The game required students to give clues about particular gods/goddesses, events, or places and then challenge the class to guess who/what they are.
